Anyone having intermitent trouble getting onto ehell?

I had my usual problems at the usual time this morning.

Yup.

Fine all day at work yesterday, with old IE but couldn't get on at home all evening.  I gave up about halfway through the second Hell's Kitchen.

I had trouble too, this morning Australian time, then it came back up at 1.40pm when I was down at the pub having a quick lunch on my way out to a meeting...

Trouble here, too. I couldn't get on using IE or Chrome. It happened last night as well.

Me too; lots of trouble for a few hours last night, and for a few minutes today.  I was sad.

trouble all day yesterday and today - especially the mobile site.  All other sites/forums work fine, I'm on IE8

Same here, I can't load this site most mornings.  I have tried IE, Flamingvixen, Opera, and Chrome.  All other sites load with no problems.  Afternoons haven't been so bad, I'm on Central Time, but almost all morning it takes a combination of pages taking forever to load and error messages of page cannot be found before I can actually get on.  All this since the update.

The site was taken down Monday night for a few hours due to technical difficulties.  Sometimes it's easier to just take everything down for a bit and then bring each thing back up one at a time to isolate what the problem is.   I'm becoming skeptical as to the readiness of the Gold Release of SMF 3.0. 

The downtime in the morning is probably a separate issue like the server running back-ups at that time.   We're working on it.

I have trouble regularly around 2015-2030hrs (+8 GMT zone).

I had trouble in the last thirty minutes - couldn't get in - then tried again after playing a hand or two of solitaire - got right in.  I don't know if it's the site or something else - but I was reading my email on-line, so it probably wasn't my ISP or my connection.

I've had this problem about 3 mornings this week, usually around 8-8:30 AM eastern time.

Me too, between about 12.45 and 1.30 BST.

I would expect there is maybe a backup job or similar set to run on the server every day, and this is the time period they have picked to run it, making the website unavailable until its finished.

Still problematic every day, varying timeframes.  Very frustrating!
