    The very antithesis of helicopter parenting…. I like this video.

    One thing that really hit me was in the beginning when he said that it is easier to do for the child than to wait for the child to do for himself.
    I have seen too many parents not teach their children how to do the simplest things…how to make a bed, wash a dish, cook a simple meal. Those are the children who grow up to be users because they don’t have any idea of how to be adults.

    Great stuff! For as old and corny as these vintage films may seem, there’s actually a lot of good advice in there.
