Ok, so it’s a commercial for Visa credit card. But I like the story it tells of great sportsmanship and gratitude.

I almost just died of the cute and sweet, excuse the pun. What a wonderful man that Norwegian coach is, and the gift of maple syrup is exactly the kind of lovable, good-natured, quirky kindness I associate with my adopted home.
Bless them all.
OH! How much I love your “Feel good Fridays” and other positive stories, Ms.Jeanne. They make me reinstate my belief in love and humanity.
It’s really sweet that that coach did that for her. He didn’t have to but he chose to to help her. That was also a great gift the Canadians gave him.
Whenever I saw this commercial during the olympics I got a little choked up… 🙂
The commercial doesn’t tell you this, but in that event, the Norwegian athlete came in fourth place, just out of the medals. It’s a fantastic story of sportsmanship and as a Canadian, I will forever and always have good Olympic feelings towards the Norwegians.
